NEU: Norwegens arktischer Norden (3): Die Bäreninsel und Jan Mayen
Photobook of Bear Island (Bjørnøya) and Jan Mayen. German text.
Language: German
This photobook has more text (the whole text is in German!) than the second part of this little series, "Norwegens arktischer Norden (2): Aerial Arctic"). It is a journey to the remote islands of Bear Island (Bjørnøya) and Jan Mayen. Bear Island is part of the Spitsbergen archipelago (Svalbard). Both islands belong to Norway. The author has travelled both islands extensively, including an expedition to the top of mount Beerenberg, the volcano on Jan Mayen. In this book, he takes the reader on journeys to both islands. The text (German) tells the stories of the author's adventures and includes a lot of information about the islands.
The text is German, hence please refer to the German description (change language by clicking on the flag symbol on the top of this page) for more detailed information.
The books comes in A4 size (landscape format) and hardcover. It has more than 400 colour photographs and many maps.
